KOK is Oslo's best-known floating wood-fired sauna — a pair of wooden barges moored at Langkaia on the Bjørvika harbor. Sessions alternate 80°C heat with plunges straight into the fjord. Bookings fill weeks in advance in winter. A defining part of Oslo's modern fjord-bathing revival, which only became possible after the harbor cleanup of the 1990s–2010s turned the water swim-safe.
